Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms govern the website service provided by Siteholm, India ("we", "us"). By asking for a free preview or by paying for a plan, you ("you", "the customer") accept these terms.
1. The service
- We build a website for your business with our own software, based on the brief you give us in our form.
- We host the website, keep it online and look after it for as long as your plan runs.
- You pay monthly or yearly and can cancel at any time (section 9).
- The service is only for businesses, including sole traders, for use in their business (section 13).
2. Plans and prices
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | €29 | €290 | A complete business website |
| Business | €59 | €590 | Everything in Start, plus online bookings |
| Shop | €99 | €990 | Everything in Business, plus an online shop with up to 250 products |
- All prices are in euro.
- There is no setup fee and no free plan.
- A yearly plan costs the same as 10 months.
- Every plan includes up to 8 pages. Most sites need 4 to 7.
- The features of each plan are shown on our website and in your dashboard at the time you order.
- We may change our prices for future billing periods. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
3. The free preview
- Before you pay, we build a free preview of your site from your brief.
- One free preview is allowed per email address. Variants of one address, such as added plus tags or extra dots in a Gmail address, count as the same address.
- We may ask you to confirm your email address before we start building, and we may limit the number of previews from one connection.
- The preview is shown at a private address and is not listed in search engines.
- A preview that is not paid for is taken offline after 14 days.
- The preview is shown as built. Change requests start once the site is live.
- A preview creates no obligation to buy.
4. Order and payment
- The contract for a paid plan starts when your first payment is confirmed. We put the site live as soon as you have filled in the Company details page in your dashboard, and confirm this by email.
- When you order, you confirm that you buy for your business. We take orders from businesses in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
- If you give a valid VAT number from Sweden or Denmark, or a Norwegian organisation number with the same tax registration, you pay the price without this tax and account for it yourself (reverse charge). Otherwise the price includes the tax of your country where the law requires us to charge it.
- We send an invoice for every payment by email and keep all invoices in your dashboard.
- Payments are taken through PayPal as a recurring subscription. PayPal's own terms apply to your PayPal account.
- Your plan renews each month or each year, depending on the billing cycle you chose, until you cancel.
- If PayPal cannot collect a payment, it tries again. If the subscription ends because the payment could not be collected, your plan ends in the same way as a cancellation (section 9).
5. Your site and your content
- You give us the information, text, logo and photos you want on the site. You confirm that you have the right to use them and that they do not break any law or anyone else's rights.
- Our software writes the texts and the design of the site from your brief. It can get details wrong, so please check every page of your preview and tell us about anything that is wrong. You are responsible for the facts on your site, such as prices, opening hours, offers and legal notices.
- Where you do not supply photos, we use stock photos from Pexels under the Pexels licence.
- Your texts, photos, logo and business name always stay yours, and you give us the right to use them to build, host and look after your site. A domain we register is held in our own registrar account while your plan runs. When your plan ends, we transfer it to you free of charge if you ask (section 7).
- The design we make for your site is yours too. You can download a copy of your site files from your dashboard at any time while your plan runs and until we delete the site (section 9), for example when you leave.
- We keep the site builder, the code parts that are shared between sites, the dashboard and the booking and shop tools. When your plan ends, bookings, forms and the shop on your site stop working.
- We show your site as an example of our work only if you say yes to it.
6. Change requests
- Once your site is live you can ask for changes from your dashboard.
- The number of change requests per month is 2 on Start, 4 on Business and 6 on Shop. Unused requests do not carry over to the next month.
- One change request is one clear request to change content or design that is already on the site, for example new text, a new photo, new prices or a colour change.
- New pages beyond the plan limit, new features and a full redesign are not change requests.
- We carry out change requests within a reasonable time and tell you when they are done.
7. Domains
- Your site first runs at an address on our domain. You can then choose your own domain in the dashboard.
- One standard-priced .com domain is included in your plan for as long as the plan runs. Other domain endings and premium names are charged at our cost price as a separate yearly subscription, shown to you before you pay.
- We register the domain in our own registrar account and renew it each year for as long as your plan runs, so you do not need to handle renewals. Where a registry's rules require it, the domain is registered with you as the holder.
- When your plan ends, we stop renewing the domain. If you ask from your dashboard, we transfer it free of charge to a registrar of your choice. If you do not ask, the domain expires at the end of its current registration period.
- Not every domain ending is available. The endings we can offer are shown in your dashboard.
- You can also connect a domain you already own, or one with an ending we cannot register, such as .se, .dk or .no. You add the DNS records we show you in the dashboard. That domain stays in your own registrar account, you pay for it yourself, and you keep it when your plan ends.
8. Bookings and shop
- On Business and Shop plans your site can take online bookings. You decide your services, times and rules. The booking contract is between you and your customer.
- On the Shop plan your site can sell up to 250 products. Payments in your shop are made through your own Mollie or Stripe account. The money goes straight to you and we take no share of your sales. Fees charged by Mollie or Stripe are yours to pay under your agreement with them.
- You are the seller in your shop and the service provider for your bookings. You are responsible for your shop and booking terms, your prices and taxes, consumer rights, delivery, returns and customer service. We provide template legal pages as a starting point. They are not legal advice and you must check them for your business.
- When we store or send your customers' bookings and orders, we do so on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. You can ask us for a copy at hello@siteholm.com.
9. Cancellation and end of the plan
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or in your PayPal account. A monthly plan then ends at the end of the paid month, and a yearly plan at the end of the paid year.
- After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. No further payments are taken.
- Payments for a period that has started are not refunded, except under the 14-day money-back promise (section 10) or where the law requires it.
- When the plan ends, your site goes offline and we stop renewing your domain. If you ask, we transfer the domain to you free of charge (section 7).
- We delete your site and the data linked to it within 90 days after the plan ends, except records we must keep by law.
- You can ask us at any time to help you move to another provider. Within 30 days we send you, free of charge and in common file formats, the content you gave us and the bookings and orders of your site. If you ask, your plan keeps running for up to 30 more days at the normal price while you move, and you then have at least 30 days to download your data before we delete it.
10. 14-day money-back promise
- If you are not happy, you can ask for your money back within 14 days of your first payment. Use your dashboard or email us.
- We then cancel your subscription, take the site offline and refund your first plan payment in full to the way you paid.
- A domain that has already been registered cannot be cancelled at the registry. Paid domain fees are not covered by the money-back promise. If you ask, we transfer the domain to you free of charge. If not, it expires at the end of its registration period.
- The money-back promise applies once per customer and only to the first payment of the first plan.
- You do not need to give a reason. The refund is made within 14 days of your request.
11. Acceptable use
We build websites for ordinary businesses, and almost every kind of business is welcome. We do not build or host websites for
- sexual content involving minors, in any form
- pornography or sexual nudity
- escort services, prostitution, erotic massage or other paid sexual services
- selling illegal drugs
- trading in weapons or explosives, or selling guns without the licence the law requires
- scams or fraud
- terrorism or violent extremism
- trafficking in people or selling human organs
- fake passports, IDs, diplomas or money
- hacking for hire or breaking into other people's accounts
You must also not use the service for malware, phishing or spam, for content that breaks the law or other people's rights, or for anything that puts our systems or other customers at risk.
Our software checks every brief and every change request against this list. When it finds a clear match, we do not build the site or make the change, and we email you the reason. A person reviews every such case. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that email and we look at it again. We may also remove content or take a site offline if it breaks this section. We then always tell you why, which rule or law it breaks and how you can challenge the decision.
12. Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report content on a site we host that they believe is illegal, by email to hello@siteholm.com. Please give the web address, why you think the content is illegal, and your name and email address, and confirm that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete. For reports about sexual abuse of children you do not need to give your name.
We confirm every report we receive. A person reviews every report and decides without undue delay. We tell the person who reported it and the site owner what we decided, why, whether software was involved, and how they can challenge the decision, by replying to us, through an out-of-court dispute settlement body, or in court. If we learn of content that points to a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we tell the police.
hello@siteholm.com is also our single point of contact for authorities and for users under the EU Digital Services Act. We answer in English, Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.
13. Business customers only
- We sell only to businesses, including sole traders, for use in their business. We do not sell to consumers.
- Because of this, the consumer rules on withdrawal do not apply. Our 14-day money-back promise (section 10) still applies to your first plan payment.
14. Availability and support
- We aim to keep sites online at all times, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, faults at our hosting provider or events outside our control can cause downtime.
- Support is by email at hello@siteholm.com.
15. Liability
- We provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data, unless we caused it on purpose or by gross negligence.
- Our total liability under these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
- These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
16. Privacy
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. For personal data of your own customers, our Data Processing Agreement applies.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that affect you, we email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies. The version on our website is the current one.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of India. The courts of India decide any dispute. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to solve the problem together.
